We are a loving, welcoming, and friendly church. Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:37-40 that if we love God and love others, that everything else will fall into place. We strive to make this a safe and loving environment by following the command of Christ to passionately love God and love others.
We are intentional and passionate about creating this type of environment because our desire is to see people find salvation, grow stronger in their walk, discover their God given purpose, and be empowered to make a difference for the Kingdom of God.
Our desire is to make prayer the foundation of everything we do as a church. We are a church that prays and fasts corporately, but we also want to help people develop this foundation of prayer and fasting in their individual walk with Christ. Prayer still changes things, and we are people of prayer.
Our desire is to invite the lost and hurting to come see Jesus by inviting the unchurched to church. It’s only through His Holy Spirit that they will experience salvation and spiritual growth. We strive to create an environment where people can encounter the life changing presence of the Holy Spirit. Our desire to invite extends to fellow believers as they take their next step in their spiritual formation so that they can continue to grow stronger in their faith.
Our desire is to be good stewards of the gifts God has given to us. Therefore, we want to give our time, talent, and resources in obedience to God’s Word and from a generous and cheerful heart.
Our desire is to help believers grow in their faith by learning how to serve in the local church and in the world around us. Some of the greatest lessons we will learn will be learned as we begin using the gifts and talents God has given us for His glory. It is through serving that we show the love of Christ to a hurting and broken world
We exist to create a safe and loving environment by loving God and loving others so that people will experience salvation and spiritual growth. This is more than a slogan. This is the culture and heart of our church that is built through prayer, inviting, stewardship, and serving.
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
We believe that justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
We believe Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
We believe in the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
We believe in the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
We believe in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
We are Pentecostal believers which means a commitment to freedom of worship and openness to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This has led to our affiliation with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN).
